At what stage of my training should I purchase PDR-Online? Ideally this should be the first place you start, the video tutorials and the interactive tools will create good habits, any master technician would be proud of, but even if you have done some form of training, PDR-Online will increase your methods and give you a safe place to practice your skills.

What are the minimum system specs?

Why can I only purchase PDR Online for 30 days? PDR-Online has now been upgraded from 30 days to a full year's registration, we are listening to our customers, and this was the main concern, so worry no more!, and we didn't even change the price.

Is this all the training I will need, to make me a master technician? No.This is the first step in a journey, PDR-Online has been designed to help bridge that gap between “how do you do that?” and spending $10000 on tools and training.

How can I see the video tutorials? Once PDR-Online is purchased and downloaded, the video tutorials can be found under the help menu.

What is PDR? Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is the art of manipulating a vehicles metal back to its original shape without breaking the paintwork. It is the fastest, most efficient, cost effective method of removing hail damage or other small dents.

How is PDR done in the real world? PDR process involves special lights that cast depth patterns across damaged areas, then technicians use the reflection as a point of reference and from the underside of the panel gently push the dent out without disturbing the factory finish or custom paintwork.

Wouldn’t the paint crack? PDR done successfully will not damage the paintwork, modern day motor vehicles are coated with high tech laminates, giving the technician a fair amount of movement before they damage the paintwork.

What are some common mistakes from a new PDR Tech? The most common problem we have found with new people in the trade, is that they can not see the dent in enough detail to be able to understand what is happening under the paint. PDR-Online have tried to eliminate this problem by creating an interactive program that you can simply remove that paint, and watch how the metal is moving. I have purchased PDR Online but my computer wont allow me to open it. This problem is commonly caused by your anti-virus software, the easiest way is to download the zip folder to your desktop, then right click on the file, select properties.At the bottom you will see “allow” option, click this to allow. You should now be able to open this file.

My computer is saying I need another program to run PDR Online. PDR Online needs the Microsoft windows update .NET to run, this is a free update from Microsoft, head to Microsoft update page choose the custom installation, and choose .NET from the list.

Is there a way to zoom in closer to the dent, in PDR Online? PDR Online as full zoom and pan functions. You can zoom in or out with the mouse scroll wheel, or manually zoom in and around the screen with the letters W,A,S, and D.W is Forward, S is backward, A is left, and D is right movement. You can also hold down the right button on your mouse and change the angle of the dent.
